Thank the lord they are finally coming back to Texas. Been waiting since Chaos In Motion 2007 for them to come back.
No doubt. Dream Theater = Tour Bus; Iron Maiden = Jumbo Jet
That's show was recorded and released as the 2 disc set "Beast Over Hammersmith" as part of the limited edition Eddie's Archive boxset. It's my favorite live Maiden album, it smokes Live After Death IMO. Bruce's voice is unreal on that recording.
Damn, you beat me on this ! The first time I saw Iron Maiden, it was in Paris in 1984.
But I have seen Metallica in February 1984 ... their first shows in Europe (they opened for Venom).
It's funny. There was some footage on TV here (UK) as part of a 'Heavy Metal' night on one of the BBC channels a few nights ago showing everyone going into this show, all wearing the obligatory leather/denim covered in patches combination. I was looking out for a much younger version of me in the footage but sadly didn't spot myself.
You've beaten me on that one. I first saw Metallica on the Justice tour which I think was about '86? That was at Hammersmith Odeon as well. I used to live in that place!![]()
1988 bungo.

Any word on when/where the MSG tickets are going on sale? I'm a little anxious not seeing it anywhere, especially since it'll sell out the minute they go on sale.
March 20th. March 17th for Maiden Fan Club members. Many of the tickets will be paperless to discourage scalpers. You'll have to show the credit card you use to pay for your tickets when you arrive at the venue.
Thanks, but where at? It still doesn't show on TicketMaster or LiveNation...is there some new cool online ticket service that I don't know about?
I'm hitting the Houston show for sure!! I'd just like to know how much time DT will get to play!

probably an hour or 3 songs whichever comes first.![]()
Any ideas on why the MSG show still doesn't appear on Ticketmaster or LiveNation? I'm getting a little anxious with this weekend coming up
