Why does Petrucci’s tone always sound so much better in your videos compared to the albums? I mean, I have a JP XI but I can’t get that tone...

I'm lost in the mails to find if I'm missing anything you did before LTE3, I am considering buying guitar pro and throwing away the official tab books :)

Just to clarify, the DT books from Octavarium to present (transcribed by Jordan Baker and Ryan Maziarz) are all good and accurate. JP sends them the isolated guitar tracks. The ones before that are all inaccurate to varying degrees. Just send me an email via the "contact me" form on my website and I'll send you links to everything: Evan Bradley Transcriptions
