i am considering to migrate to flats but but but since i drop my tuning by one whole tone, i want to hear your opinions on this. do you think it would sound floppy?

Depends on which brand and gauge of flats. Some brands of flats have a lot more tension than equivalent gauge rounds, so I imagine tuning down a tone would be quite feasible.

That's the set I want to try. I have a "used set" of another name brand on there now and I like what I am hearing. I love the feel of flats and the "No squeeky" sound I'm hearing.

I detest string noise ala roundwounds...........:(
