A question. Has anyone noticed that the Titanium Coated strings seem to have less tension as compared to the RPS in the same gauge? I ask because I've installed 3 sets in 3 different guitars so far, and all 3 seem to be a lot easier to bend. that could be a grip issue because they seem to be "stickier" than the RPS strings. If that's just it, then why is my JP6 trem a bit more pulled back than usual? (as in pulled towards the body) in the same pitch?

I've noticed that the Regular Slinky strings are the same way. The RPS strings seem to be a little stiffer...it's not a BIG difference, but it's noticeable. Where my JP6 trem was sitting perfectly flat with RPS strings, it dropped a bit with regular slinkys...

Best news i've had all day

I approved the bass sets yesterday

there is no difference in the tension between the coated vs non coated....

YAY!!! Best news I've had all day, can't wait for these to hit the stores, we are loving the guitar ones, so these must be ace! Thanks Mr. Sterling Ball!

Hey, just registered here and wanted to throw my kudos towards the Titanium Coated Slinky sets. I've been using another brand of strings for a long time, and have tried two sets of the EB Titanium Coated and I'm really digging them. I LOVE how long the plain strings keep their feel and tone. The "other guys" are being given a run for their money.

+1...I can't wait to get my grimey(literally, hence the need for coated strings) hands on these things. :D

Hola! New here. Was looking up these strings to see if maybe I did something wrong with them. I have an Epiphone Les Paul Classic, and I recently got my guitar set up with the Titanium coated 11's (i already used 11's, but figured I might as well get the set up done with it). At first, it sounded and felt AMAZING! Like, AMAZINGLY AMAZING to me. However, I was told that these strings wouldn't break as easily, and they wouldn't rust...within about a week or two, they were rusting, and then a string broke within I think two weeks. So...I figured...maybe it was just a mistake. Maybe they didn't put on the strings I gave with the guitar. I bought a new pair, and completely restrung the les paul. Once again, it felt AMAZING! That was only about 3 weeks ago...and now they're all rusted again...and don't feel the way I think they're supposed to...

So...can someone tell me whats wrong? Is there something you need to buy with it and put on it, and THEN it won't rust and be nice and slidy and smooth with my fingers? Because for a year straight before I got the guitar set up last, I had the regular Ernie Ball 11's on my guitar, and although they did rust, they never broke. So, whats up?

Any answers/responce on what i'm doing wrong or whats generally wrong would be appreciated.
