First off the signature looks a little off. Also, I googled Starzz Guitars and can't find anything on them and wouldn't a guitar made for Eddie have a better top?

I have my doubts about this one. What say you?

Usually if a guitar was made specially for an artist, customer service would mention that in the serial number thread. For an EVH guitar I can't imagine they would not mention that. That they didn't suggests it's a regular production EVH, nothing special and probably nothing to do with EVH. You can of course post again to the serial number thread and ask specifically if it was an artists guitar or not.

And another dead giveaway... It was built in 8/95 but the seller states that it can be seen in the Van Halen Best Of video. Everything on that video was created prior to the build date. I reported it to ebay. Hopefully they'll pull it before someone gets ripped off.

As you mentioned value, any ideas what a EVH is worth, I ask because there is an blue EVH on Ebay, gut wants £1800 for it, not sure if that is over priced, sorry to get off topic.

Agreed but the Reserve is $8,000 which is way over the value of an EVH. It's already bidding at $3,600 which is more than an EVH with a marginal top like that is worth.

$2500 - $3500 depending on the condition, color, flame etc. At least that's what I've been seeing.

No I don't , I can tell you it was sold by guitar center in cherry hill ,New Jersey in 1997 to my friend whom I acquired it from, also the video of Eddie play in concert is included with guitar. Hope this helps. , joe

Do you have any information on the organization certifying this was ed's guitar (starzz)? I could not locate any such organization.

I can tell you it was sold by guitar center in cherry hill ,New Jersey in 1997

I work 10 minutes away from GC in Cherry Hill. It didn't open until 2001. Kind of hard to buy from there when it didn't exist.
