the message i got was that most other 'production' factories could not pull 'smooth, rounded and shiny' fretwork.. i was merely showing him an example of one that could. i don't think that's out of line, is it?
I refrained on commenting on your post for political reasons in this forum. It's not nice to talk about how nice my neighbours yard is when we're trying to appreciate mine.
But for arguement's sake, lets look objectively at your post, and mine.
I did not specify they could not do that. I specified that EBMM's didn't look dressed. If you do pay CLOSE attention to the J Custom's fretwork, they are dressed, and it's easy to tell. I've seen this on numerous J Customs. Jumbo frets don't come a little flat. They come round. Dressed and polished to oval. Again, go look at the frets on your JP6. Tell me if you see signs of dressing. Of course, the worse examples one could see would be Gibson and Fender, but I digress...
Plus, you quoted the TOP of the line of another manufacturer. What I stated about EBMM was across the board. Right down to the Sub1.
But you're new here. So I guess I should cut you some slack. Thing is, you need to realise here that this is BP's house, and there are rules and decorum to be observed here. Lets not come here just to use his toilet, shall we?
