I understand this event is about to be cancelled - or rescheduled to next year due to lack of response. I believe the confirmed headcount is only 8 or 9 ... not enough to justify the effort and expense. Get your confirmations in to keep this alive!!!
 
the problem is getting there........on such short notice its hard to get a deal on a flight in canada! hopefully next time

They've been pushing to make it a rule for the last year and a half, to let the public have plenty of time to get their passports together.
And as of this month the passports rule is in effect.

There's no way in hell that I could get a renewal in time. :(

We used to go to Canada with boring regularity when I was younger.

Never even thought of having a passport.

I guess I had better get mine renewed.

It used to be the guys that were under 21 would go there to drink.

Well these events don't come around often! It's a perfect chance to meet some knuckleheads. I'd love to meet some European knuckleheads when I get the chance!
 
HI Guys...I have been talking with Glen Booth and it sounds like we will scale it down a bit, we only had about 8 "for sures". So renting out the hall isn't necesarry. However.....we are working on planning a MM/EB day at The Arts on that same Sunday. It will be a great/fun event where you can test drive some Balls....and get your current ones re-strung and set up with EB strings. Details are in the works, more to come soon:
 
Wow, I am hopeful that a few more will come out of the weeds to confirm. I will be there for sure (RSVP sent in!) and am trying to wrangle up some more EBMM users in the area. The boss wants to come as well (like Mrs Foggy, if BP were to be able to make it, she would DEFINITELY be there!).....

If this were to happen, would there be room enough in the building for us to bring and display our "babies"? Hopefully that will be included in an update....

... I was getting all set to rawk the town of Newmarket ..... then again, it should spare some of the local stores a run on ear-plugs (I really do play that bad) :D;):cool:

that's what we've been doing here @ Act 1, we've started a new series called the "Act 1 All Nighter" and it's like a GTG with some jamming, clinics, all that kind of stuff. But I tell ya, ya gotta just do it and they will come.... eventually :cool:

and Ritchie, it's not so much that you need a passport to get in to Canada but rather your country has been very adamant in getting everyone to have a passport to get back in to the US. maybe because the new US passports have these in them.......
