I ordered 2 Axis SS's the week after NAMM and the first one should be getting to me some time next week. So a little under 3 months total. Not bad considering that right after NAMM is typically a really busy time with all the new stuff coming out.
Both of my standard JPs took RIGHT AT 3 months. I mean within a few days of the 3 month mark. The first was like 3 days past the 3 month mark and the second was 3 days early (I no longer have the second BTW). And actually if you take February's amount of days (29) into consideration then I guess that puts the second one right on time. I'm hoping the same is the case for my BFR because i'm down to 10 days remaining until the 3 month mark! Only time will tell. They do phenomenal work and quality is something you cannot rush! The after-NAMM-new-color-availability order rush might delay things a bit though (so I was told by my dealer (JeffreyB) via his rep)...
hey man where else could you buy a guitar and have it BUILT JUST THE WAY YOU WANT IT?! It's not just a guitar sitting in a store, or at a warehouse ready to be shipped. It is built FOR YOU when you place the order. That's a pretty cool concept IMO. Sure there is some wait time involved, but 1) gives you time to pay for it (this was the case with all three of mine!) 2) it builds the anticipation! Your jaw will hit the floor when you first open the case... You'll look like this for ten minutes after that:
Actually, you CAN have a guitar built just the way you want it. Just go boutique. The only problem with that, is the price. This is highlighted in my other thread on Why Balls Are Best. The magic of EBMMs are boutique options ar production level prices. That's unbeatable...
