Trying to make the party!

I am making a grand attempt at flying in from Belize City to Dallas instead of Houston. I will be better able to make plans once BP and Jack have everything set in stone. If anybody is looking for a great vacation spot, check this place out!

This is really good news for me. No wheel barrow. The wife is saying we can have some fun now.

In fairness to her she has only heard of the rest of ya's by my telling.

She knows who Dave is and if he is giving lessons. I getta ride in a Jimmy and not push that wheel barrow.

I gotta look at the finances on this (planning a trip overseas in December), but...

1. Hey, is there a sign-up thread?

2. Where is this thing exactly?

3. What's the best airport to fly into?

4. How from from said airport to the partay?

5. Is it worth renting a car?

6. Is there a hotel or motel where more than a few knuckleheads will be staying?

im sure we'll get all the info soon ... once details are finalized we'll be the first to know about em.

here's what I'm going to do... so take it for what its worth.

1) book a flight to DFW airport ASAP (get there 11/3 leave 11/5)
2) wait for more info ;)

from some things ive read in threads etc i have some guesses. im not an official planner of this event so, again, take this for what its worth (im not speaking on jack's or BP's behalf... im just guessing and may be wrong).

so my guess is:
they'll probably have this at a hotel.
they'll try n get us a group rate at that hotel
once we get that info ill book a room there.

im working with that guess. so ill get to the airport, take a taxi to the hotel, find you guys at the bar, hang out for about 40 hours, hear some great music, have a great weekend then fly back and sleep when i get home

Dallas is a hard town to find a great venue and a affordable hotel and we are working on it and will have info very soon. Im still pressuring Luke to be there may a separate thread where we bug him?
