According to Bree (Gregory) you called him and left a message that mine was finished. This is the coolest thing I have heard since.... Well let's just say I am happy.
Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me!
Bree also said it would be cool if you shipped it straight to my house. If there is any way that this is possible PM or call me for details. If not, carry on and do your thing like you always do.

Bree should be calling within the hour. Dargin,
THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Fred

I keep getting kicked out of your webshots link - any way you can link a few to the thread.

I've only gotten as far as the thumbnails but from what I can see its a very sweet instrument

Congrats and enjoy

Fred,
It's beauteous! Did the binding get pared down? It looks a bit thinner than previous ones I've seen. Awesome finish! Congrats.

Wow-congratulations!

Is that a standard or premium grade top?

Funky,
That's a premium top. I just took a picture of the neck plate that says "custom made" and posted it with the other pics. When you order the premium top you get the "custom made" neck plate. Pretty cool...

Janice, I think it's just the way the pictures look, being radiused it may appear thinner from certain angles. That is definitely a cool feature of this guitar. I don't know that anyone else is doing that with their bindings.

Frank,
That's the purple sunset, and it's a damn cool finish. Everyone at the store was raving about it. My wife loves it. She said it's definitely the best looking one of the bunch.

Congrats Fred, you definately got a winner there!

What's the neck profile like on that beast? (perfect is not an acceptable answer  )

You seem like the perfect guy to ask because

1 - You actually have one (DOH!) :D

and

2 - You have a pretty varied selection of EBMMs anyway.

Whats it like compared to say, the EVH/Axis or Pet? What's it most similar to?

Many thanks

Hmmmmmm...

If perfect isn't acceptable then how about damn good???

Well then, it's somewhere between the Silo and Petrucci, probably closer to the Silo. It's thinner (front to back) than the Silo, but not as thin or as wide as the Petrucci. Ya following me here??? ;) And is not comparable to the EVH/Axis. They're a lot chunkier and asymetrical compared to the carves on the other guitars.

I love the tone, it resonates through your body, and you can feel the chords. This guitar is even better than my Petrucci which I thought resonated a lot. I've never had a hardtail guitar and the sustain is definitely more noticeable in this guitar compared to the others.

Cosmetically it's a killer too. The quilt is really really nice and the neck has both birdseye and flame. It's hard to get any contrast on the pictures since the neck is so new and clean. Give it a few years and those beauty marks will shine through like the birdseye on my EVH.
