BP what can you tell us about your other endorsee's Keith and NorM? ;)

Can't speak for Norm, but the Keith thing will probably end badly. :(
If it already hasn't. :p

BTW These are some of my favorite threads.
It's always cool hearing how forum members see their way to Music Man, but hearing about how artists make their way over is something really special.

Also, I seem to remember Dave LaRue playing Warwick before MM.

BP...forgot to mention. I met the boys in Hinder last week. My singer actually won a radio contest to meet them after the show. Of course, the wife and I were sporting our EB shirts and hat, I was wearing my bongo bling and the one guitar player said, "You must really like Ernie Ball." My singer started laughing and said "Koogs and Sterling are friends...so, yeah, it's the only musical products he uses!" The guitar player replied, "They are really really good to us as we use their strings." All the guys were great and my wife had them laughing all night. They really complimented EB (that's a good thing) and I asked them to get some EBMM guitars and basses to go along with those strings....shameless plug I know...hahaha...good time was had by all.

EBMM is the coolest company out there. In 2005, I met Gary Hoey at a show in CA and he hooked me up w/ a NAMM pass. While there, I met w/ EBMM and they've taken care of me since. At this past NAMM, I played one of their Axis SS models on display (most companies don't even bother to bring lefty guitars) and just yesterday I have UPS at my door dropping off the axe.

Thanks again, EBMM!!

Hey Patrick,
Great to hear you're playing MM. This is the best guitar company out there. Awesome guitars, but just as important, awesome people! One of the few companies that care about MUSIC and INSTRUMENTS first. THAT, my friends is why you see guys like Luke and Steve etc. etc. etc.... staying put for years and years. It takes Balls to base a company on quality instead of quantity. Sorry, terrible pun, LOL.

About 3/4 of the way through, you can hear him go from the bucker (forgot what he has in there) to the neck p'up (which I believe is stock?). That fat single coil neck tone can go anywhere you take it on these Specials.

I also love the way Vinnie (and his Silo) blends with the band; even on his solos he's still "in" the mix, not cutting above it. That sort of modesty in a player really gets my respect.

If you stop at 2:02, you'll see he has dual-rail pickups for the neck and middle.

True, looks like he goes back to the bucker at around 2:02. Didn't even notice he has a bucker in the middle. What dual rail pickup is that, do you know? I heard it mentioned before somewhere here.

Well, he mightn't need/want a siggy, but I have an odd feeling that there might be a forumite or two longing for a Silo Special with a Floyd...
Oh, and the guy shure deserves it!

Cheers
