I don't know about everyone else here but I'm sure glad that he went into building guitars and basses rather than accordians. I don't think I'd want a room full of accordians. Not that's there's anything wrong with it.

You know, I've thought that very same thing when looking at pictures of my dad. This 17th will be 25 years since his passing.

I'm a bit late there, but I had a hard time finding the words to express what I feel.

Seeing this kind of picture always moves me pretty much, that's like you have a secret window through which you can see the future. And here you can see a young man starting his small business in guitar selling and teaching, and when you look through your secret window then you can see a major company in the music industry, with an unordinary notion of customer service, attracting natural sympathy and friendship from most customers worldwide.

Who could have guessed, back in 1954, that this small outlet/music school would have become what we all know now ? That's really moving, IMO. Big emotion scene for me, according to my perception of that kind of things. Many thanks, BP.
