I recently acquired a 2008 EBMM 4H with bridge Piezo pick up. I understand this model is discontinued. Does anyone know how many of these basses were produced? I cannot find any information on this specific model. Anyone else own one?

Got several, all FL. Once did test one with frets, didnt win me over, didnt "make sense". YMMV.
Of my fourteen MMs, only two have frets and those two are NOT piezo. Piezos seem to brighten up the metal-to-metal tone of a fretted bass, which is why I didnt buy the one I tested. But some other players might really like that. Obviously, not enough players liked that enough to pay $275 for it, so its discontinued.
With FL theres no metal-to-metal effect, but apparently theres just too few of us MM FL players, so all FLs are also discontinued (except as an option on some limited run special editions.)
