Ernie -

I found a Petrucci color missing from your collection ;) :

That's the color you get if you put all my Pets into a blender!

Just out of curioustiy, where did you find that monstrosity?

Woops, I take back my "Monstrosity" description. Sorry Norrin, you should have had it chromed to match your shiny silver body.

(Silver Surfer, get it Mr. Radd?)

(I think you do)

Hey no worries! It is a bit of a "monstrosity"! I would liked to have had it chromed, but couldn't find a place to do it properly, although I know of one now. Now, If I could only afford another guitar and the $$ to have it chromed (sound of wife sighing heavily in the background......)

You are the first person in about two years of my being on forums to catch that! Awesome!!!

If you're serious about getting a guitar chromed, the only man I'd suggest you get to do it is Martin Sims of Sims Custom. He does work for most of the respected UK guitar builders and his work is second to none. I, for one, would love to see a chrome Pet.

Slightly OT, but if you look at the Spray Shop gallery, my buddy built the guitars on the first 4 rows. If you click on the Tiger Eye body (3rd row, 4th pic) you'll see what I think is the finest one piece maple top I've ever seen. Apologies if this breaks any forum rules.

Any chance of me sending in my own piece of maple to cap my new JP when they release the new model?! :D

I can vouch for his work, he clearcoated my custom guitar and the finish is like glass. I've also seen a couple of his chrome wraps and the finish is very even. He's a very nice guy too.
