Ever use the lip on the trem for....

On the vintage trem did you guys ever use the lip on the back to lift the trem for some vibrato effect? I find myself not putting the bar in and just lifting the trem with my hand lol...I cant be the only one! I think its great a great trem design for that reason alone!..lol

You could also push down with the palm, with or without tremolo arm, another technique that is used since the early days.

Steve Lukather does this all the time. By resting the heel of your hand on the bridge you can get notes to slide into each other.
