$150??? I think you're dreaming. Unless you just have some local guy do it. And parts of that guitar are so scratched/gashed, that I don't think you could sand it out. You'd either have to fill it or paint over the scratches which looks cheesy IMO.
I guess it just depends on what you're expecting the final product to look like.
Honestly, if it is structurally fine and a guy could find a replacement neck pickup, it could just be a perfect player with lots of character.
I still wouldn't pay much more that $800 for it though.
