EVH Music Man high E string slippage

Beauty of an EVH Ruben and the quilt pattern reminds me of my own T-Gold. Okay you are full aware that there were some issues with the high E slipping off the fretboard so nothing new there and the reason the made the neck 1/32" wider on the Axis. My best advice as many have already stated would be to adjust your technique slightly when tapping on the high E. I am assuming you flick down when tapping (like me lol) but adjust to flicking up on the high E and you should have no issue.

Just a quick update: it works :) once you get used to it, it's not much of a problem really.
Matter of adjusting

Hi Spidermurphy,

it is an old theme, but my new JP6/piezo 's got the same problem.
You got an idea for me solving that high e-string problem with having
piezo saddles on the bridge ?
greetings & rock on,
andreas
