Heh .. BB couldn't work out which curves he liked most ... so he asked me to incorporate the 2 sets ... Wife and guitar ...

Right at the base of the neck?

Picking just above the bridge, fingering on the neck .. that was the intention .. musta worked eh :) If she reached right up high, she would cover the whole fretboard ...

Shall we leave BP & Co. to come up with an appropriate name for the finish ... or throw it open to the populace ... ;)

The problem with shapely women and shapely guitars is that whilst both sets of curves are indispuitably attractive, unfortunately, they are mutually incompatible .. in fact, proper though they are, the curves of a guitar are rather more in keeping with ones mother in law than ones dream girl ... its the "big bum" curve that's the problem :)

BTW - if anyone has ever thought of tarting up an OLP or an old cheapy they've tired of .. I know a way to do vinishes like these on REAL guitars too ;) ... It's not my business, but I can explain how to do it for anyone who wants to try ...

Cool concepts, the first bass is what I'd call " The girlfriend bass" the second is what I'd call " The mother in law bass" :D
