Oh dude, that's the stuff. Fishbone, Jane's, Peppers. Totally.

It's too bad I didn't see Fishbone until '94; Kendall had blown his fuse by then, and the writing went downhill after he and Chris left.

BTW, when are you in town next?

I had a buddy that got me into them. I can still hear "U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi" in my head when I think about hanging out ...

Dunno yet- I was hoping to be down for NAMM (DAMN) but that didn't work out. So probably Feb some time ... I'll definitely give ya a buzz when it happens.

I think Fishbone kicked serious @ss on 'In Your Face', 'Truth and Soul' and 'Reality Of...'!

Hope to catch you next month; going for drinks with Phatduckk and any other locals that might jump on the wagon (or off, as it were). :D

I'm surprised Simon (Mcvinyl) hasn't posted to this thread. His whole record collection is being talked about here. He still wears his pink parachute pants with the white sneakers to this day. What ever he say's about me in his response will just be a lie.;)

Colin,

I have to admit... I had a single pair of black parachute pants back in the day. And I liked them, dammit! :D

I'm proud to say that I never owned any spandex, or women's blouses.

I'll talk to Simon and see if he still has his spandex

Colin, let me cast your mind back to a certain young man in the 80's who had a pair of long black spandex pants with a red stripe up the side custom made for him just like the one's David Lee Roth used to wear. Bring back any memories???? :D

Simon

P.S. Didn't you have to have a special pocket sewn into the front of them for you to put a sock into so that people wouldn't laugh at you????

The guy that made them was dyslexic and sewed the sock in the rear by accident. Very embarrassing.
