Oh too funny! And I'm way embarrassed, but now we have 'pet' names for each other!

I cannot believe I am remembering you as Sean.....

I'm hard to embarrass, but I really can't remember your name right now!

That's it. I'm getting too f**king old.

I am really sorry.

*covers face with hands*

Please take pity on me and tell me your real name again. I promise I won't forget.

And the check's in the mail,
Becky
No problem, Becks! I think my new username should be 'shameless63'! :D :D

Help...this thread has come back to haunt us all..... But while we are at it, how great are Y&T.

Jonny

Local band for us up here in San Francisco.

Mike (TNT) and I have a gig tonight in the East Bay, and I guess Phil (Y&T bass) may make an appearance and sit in for a few songs.

I also did a few jams and gigs with Leonard (Y&T drums) back in '94-95 when I first moved up here. Funny dude!

My wife got me a Sirius Satelite radio for Christmas. Channel 23 is HairNation. It's pretty cool. It's non-stop Dokken, Priest, Scorpions, Def Lep, bonjovi, Queensryche, etc. There are stations for every kind of music out there from past to present as well as talk, news, sports, etc.

Right now, Circuit City has a radio for 40 bucks. Monthly charges are about 12 bucks.

Are you guys saying the 80s are over?

Favourites amongst hundreds of others:

Van Halen: Secrets...beautiful in every way, and so subtle
White Lion: Wait....gorgeous and perfectly intonated solo in a rubbish song.
DLR with Vai: Big Trouble
Motley Crue: Smokin In The Boys Room
Whitesnake with John Sykes: Cryin In The Rain

You guys scare me.

For me, off the top of my head, it was The Smiths, The Cure, REM, U2, RHCP, The Pogues, Fugazi, Minor Threat, Fishbone...

I have to admit I was in junior high in the early 80's and really dug George Thorogood at the time.

I remember in about 86 I got my first decent stereo about a month before The Joshua Tree came out. Me and a buddy went out and bought it, took it back to my dorm room and listened to it the whole way through. That was definitely one of my formative musical experiences, we were totally stunned.
