First and foremost, I do NOT want to trade. You know what you should do though? You should get another lefty pickguard, except cut for three single coils, then throw three singles in. That way, you've got the best of both worlds!

I tried the H-S-S version, and in all honesty I never really liked how it was wired. I was looking for *covers head* a Strat, without having to buy a Strat. This S-S-S is simply divine. It's everything I want in a bluesy guitar. Now, to try and get country twang out of it! That way I can avoid buying a Tele.

Quick question, when the JP comes out, where do you think we will be able to get it at?

I think once the ordering window opens, you should just order it through one of the many dealers that post on here. I think a lot of dealers would/should stock them.

Check with PeteDubaldo at DubaldoMusic.com, jeffreyB at Yeoldemusicshop.com or jason over at Drumcityguitarland.com. Jason always has at least 6 left handed EB's in stock.

The waiting is the hardest part!!

I was kind of assuming the lefty JPs would be a limited run. I was thinking this because BP is kinda doing this as a favor for you, and not as a general marketing strategy. So it may be forum-based, like the Dargies... Thoughts?

It's entirely possible these could be a limited run. But I look at it this way....if the CEO of this company would be willing to make lefty JP's based on feedback from a few members of this forum...it says volumes as to why we are loyal and are addicted to these guitars. Not only are they the best instruments in the business....but the man who makes it possible for us to come here and have this dialogue...makes something that was seemingly impossible, and not an attractive proposition in regards to production costs...a reality.

Much like the Dargie...for me....it's a win/win...limited run or not.

I'm just glad this company is run by a staff that holds it's customer in such high regard.

Ball Family Reserve. Sort of a Top Of the Line version of the Regular. With an alder body, mahogany tone block in the center (which enhances mids) and a figured maple cap, its very very pretty and very very tonal.

Leftyguitarblue, you should go for the BFR ;)

First post here so HI! :)

:eek::eek:

This is amazing news. I'm deffinealy going to buy one of these when they are released.

I have an Axis Super Sport and I love it. No matter what I come back to this guitar because it just feels so right and sounds amazing.

Is there any news on when we can be expecting these guitars?

First off, welcome the forum!!!

I'm so glad we keep resurrecting this thread so more and more people are aware of this great news.
i don't know exactly when, but there is a rumor that they will announce this in october "officially" but don't quote me on this. Sterling, Big Poppa on the threads, has never given an exact time and i don't want to put any undo "when's it coming?" pressure on him. I'm just happy that it is even coming at all. i've wanted a JP guitar since 1999 when i first saw one and just them saying that they will build it lefty is phenomenal!!

I know how you feel about your Axis because that is the way I feel about my first EB, my Luke, and now about my Silo special.

Stick around man, lots of great people on here and info. Please post pics of your Axis as well. Rule number one....no pics? it don't exist!!!
