This thread has sat dormant long enough. Time to get the word out again. Lefty JP! Lefty JP!

I know hey? I'm pretty shocked. I'd like to kiss the guy that made all of this possible.

Now, this isn't meant to be a scathing remark at all, but has anyone else noticed how much time we forumites put into our posts? That alien post required the time to find the pictures (unless... they were all ready... stored...) and the time to get all the comments attached to the pictures just right. Wow. I hear that Aussies are a lazy lot, but this goes against that wholly. Hahahaha.

"I hate lefties". That's as ridiculous as me saying I don't want a JP.

Gotta do what I can to bump it up Tim. Plus, I hadn't been mocked in awhile, I was feeling lonely.

It seems that all I'm good for are three things on here:

1) Bitching about the left handed JP/Ranting about how happy I am about it.
2) Mocking you and apparently a lot of other people. It's not my fault sarcasm can't be read well here.
3) Kissing Sterling's ass for the left handed JP.

Tsk tsk tsk. I hate the niche I've put myself into. Maybe I'll start yamming on about how Aussies have such poor selection of guitar, just to change things up.

Apropos to nothing, I was mucking about with a crappy left handed guitar, and decided that for everything other than blues, 9's are definitely the way to go. I prefer the meaty feel of the 10's for my Silhouette Special but for playing country, rock and that little bit of Gilbertesque metal I play, the 10's are a little too bulky. Weird.

Guess I'm glad that the JP will have 9's. I absolutely can't wait to have one of those mofo's in my hands. Mmmmmm. Petrucci... the guitar. Not the man. Shut up, Scott.

haha, I wasn't gonna say a thing.

I thought Petrucci switched back to 10's? Or is that just for the BFR which is his main guitar nowadays?

My understanding is that for a while he was using tens, but then just recently he went down to nines. That's what I recall reading on the forums here, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. Nonetheless, the JP6LH with RPS9's will be smokin' hot. I just need to see these new colors to decide if my current choice is worth sticking to my guns for.

We'll see!

It felt like my JP6 came set up with 10s, and it was made in May. But then I put some 10s on it, and the bridge wasn't level with the body, so I had to adjust it. Perhaps they were 9s... I don't know. They definitely felt like 10s.

Just a few more months.....
Thats what I keep telling myself.....

Soon, left handed guitarists (with taste) will have the best guitar to their arsenal...... And we shall have world peace...

...well close enough!

Thanks again for giving us the opportunity Big Poppa.

Just to verify, even the BFR's won't have piezos right?
I know the question has been asked, but I can't seem to find where and if it was answered.

Sorry about the repetition!
Anyhow, back to playing the waiting game.

Is the flame vs. quilt top an option for the BFRs? I REALLY want a flame top... the tighter the flame, the righter it be!
