I DO have a Silhouette Special on order. It's all but paid off now too, so that when it arrives I can take the sucker home. It's white with rosewood fretboard, white pearloid pickguard and three singles. I'm just waiting for it to arrive. Being without a guitar is murder!

Sounds like my dream purchase (or at least its mirror image). Make sure you post lots of pics! Did you get matching HS?

I did not. I was going for a vintage look, and the white guitar in my mind didn't have a matching headstock... after it's bought, I'll be dropping fifty bucks to get a mint pickguard as the piece de resistance. I'll show pics for sure.

Whoa. I'm without a workable computer for a month or so and I miss approximately 25000 updates from the world of EBMM!

Left Handed JPs! Koa JP BFRs! The first Tobacco Burst BFR JP off the assembly line! OMFG. But, alas, I'm back now! This is so cool!

That's why this company is the best! I don't know of another guitar company that would do this based on the CEO's direct contact with members of the company run forum. BP once again has gone above and beyond....this is just one of the major reasons why we will remain loyal to EBMM.

I'm only here because via telephonic conversation, Beth propositioned me with large unmarked bills. She suggested I insert my special brand of humor and zany remark on the forums, and in exchange I would receive at least three whole dollars. At first, I was shocked that she would throw around such a number; but soon learned that she was as strong as her word.

I accepted the task, only to be told by some folks in the GB area that I was to monitor their threads and police them accordingly. I wouldn't say I was strong-armed into the task, but those limey bastards are pretty convincing. Apropos to nothing, I do not even remember what the topic was initially, but jumped in to ensure that naysayers kept things topical and relatively tamed. Coming from me, it was quite a change to say the least. I'm the Russell Brand of my living room generally, so keeping people on topic and within reason was exhausting.

From there, I was pestered by certain wrong handed fellows from the eastern ocean line about left handed instruments and how the product he desired was simply unavailable. We exchanged commentaries, only further propelling him toward rejection and depression. It was an awful sight because he was so adamant about it.

In a strange twist of fate, my ever-growing hero complex flared up when a lonely little forum member was mercilessly double-teamed by a few misinformed sources. Donning my vintage Star Wars bedspread as a make-shift cape, I leapt into action, protecting the images of this fellow and all affected by this attempt at tarnishing.

My good deed was rewarded with a product I was vying for, but there is much more to the story than just that. It has gone unsaid up until this point, but I believe the truth must be told. So much more than customer-based commercial advancement has taken place.

There has been an emotional bonding in this thread that could not have been predicted by Nostradamus or Nosferatu! Messages exchanged, sentiments shared, laughs tears and stories regaled! Big guns complimenting little peons. Mention of vintage Star Wars bedspreads, resulting in jealousy!

Know now that this is bigger than all of us. This little engine that could in the form of a product that was to never see the light of day is slowly chugging its way down the tracks of potential with its final destination of mainstay production. Many of us have read, some have commented, few have felt the emotion. All are affected by this. I shall sign off now, but leave these words for all to sit and ponder on:

I am REALLY bored at work.

Oh come now, you saucy minx. We both know I will fall off the face of the earth for numerous weeks, unreachable by human touch. I will be hiding in my fortress of solitude, high upon the mountain of self-righteousness; playing my guitar until my fingers bleed the blood of the working class people.

The proletariat shall feel my pain, and our blood will flow together.

I don't think I would have accepted a different answer from you...perfect!

It's dreadful, really. Once I get into the mindset of being verbose and overly wordy, I can't turn it off. Based on this though, I literally just kicked the Monday paper Crossword's ass. Thanks language!

Hey, all!!
Greetings and thanks a lot jimmy for your pressure and everyone at EBMM for supporting us lefties that can feel in our body the unfairness of those who tell us we play wrong handed.
For me it's not even a question of having started to learn lefty... Even if i started right handed I would never be able to play and feel as good and natural as I play now. Anyway, not the discussion anymore, thanks to you guys!

I actually had Luke in my plans, as soon as I got what it take$. It's one of the few available lefties, and I liked very much some reviews. If there was some store where I could try it, I would have probably bought it already, but that's not the case here, so I was cooling down my instincts and wills to make shure I was doing the right thing and wouldn't regret it, cause it's a big investment.

Now a wonderful newsbreak launches the possibility of the JP left handed. That is amazing. I never got to compare Luke and JP because it was not possible and I'm a little afraid that JP can be a little narrow, tone and expression wise, compared to Luke. What I mean is, I like Dream Theater a lot, but a guitar made for JP can have less on the guitarist expression side and more on other things important for shredding. Anyway, I'm really looking forward for JP, and I cannot have both... But I narrowed my choice of THE guitar to these 2. And JP suddendly is ahead :)

Some of you guys, even right handed have both. Can you drop a line on this?
Also, can you post more information when you have it? Like dates, and settings in which it will be available?

Thanks a lot and if not convinced otherwise, you can count me in for JP's Mystic Dream.

Welcome to the forums! I'm glad more and more people are seeing this thread and are learning about what the future of EB is going to bring!! Things are looking up for us lefties!!!! :) Don't get me wrong, they offer us great choices already, and I love my Luke and look forward to my Silo, but the thought of a JP is exciting. The hardest part is waiting.
