I would think with "a small window", they will be made up until the cut off date...kinda like the Dargie Delights. Not a set number...but, I could be reading more into it.

It will probably depend on the BFR and what it takes to build it. If they only get 50 pieces of radical birdseye for necks, that set might be limited to 50.

Hence, the beauty of the BFRs--it's whatever they decide they want to do.

I really thought that Dargin's MTB would be to good to limit to just one model. I'm thrilled that this idea is going to get recycled. I'm even happier that the SiLO is the inspiration for these guitars.

I guess with the 07 LE's and the first of the BFRs that buyers are really gonna have something to think about when they pass the EBMM booth this January.

Not to hijack but you had mentioned at Jack's BD Bash (good one eh?)that you thought it would be cool for the NAMM show to be opened up. How could an average/special person like me come to the NAMM show and see these fantastic offerings in person?

You also mentioned that you might be losing sleep by draining the wallets of the knuckleheads and only the knuckleheads. Might it be time to take one of those full page ads you advertise strings on and put the word out?

"The Fantastic New Guitars at Ernie Ball Music Man."
"We made the Best guitars Even Better."

I'm really happy that you are doing something this cool. I'm gonna go look up something I wrote years ago here.

Excellent news!

One F-1 to Bungo Towers please!

In the meantime, are there any more pictures of the F-1 available for us customers in waiting to use as wallpaper?

Many thanks as ever:D

Poppa. This announcement is pure torture.......with a touch of evil.:p :p :D :D . It is awesome news, though. Blue Dawn, BFR's.......2007 is going to be a killer year. Looking forward to seeing the color choices for the Petrucci F-1's.

Poppa. You aren't making our lives miserable. We love the torture. And I think we would all admit that we are very priviledged, on these forums, to be the first to get info on upcoming models, etc.

You guys are awesome!!!!

And my response
I saw this thread when it first came out and the only thing I could think of was the 20th anniv. Silhouette with a quilt top and flame neck. I still want to honor my word that if you do that I will buy 2 of them. I didn't want to post then because I was afraid that Darrell would tell me to shut up. I already have my blue dawn and burnt apple. You can't make a color that interests me. Beautiful wood and metal from nature along with a material like the abalone pickguard (again with the nature theme) that's what interests me. That's what I am saving up for.
So I am just happier than a tornado in a trailer park!

Here is a crazy idea for a BFR
LaRue's quilt top sterling with the MTB and tremolo. Yeah yeah I know...I'm insane

SOLD x2.

One of each please.

Subject to the availability of Pacific Blue Burst and a piezo :D......pretty please with a cherry on top?

Will BFRs automatically be the equivalent of premium top upgrades and will we be able to specify quilt or flame? (I love quilt but flame does nothing for me I'm afraid).

I know, I know, wait for NAMM....blah, blah;)

Oh my, a PBB F-1 with piezo. I might just have the big one.

Anyone know if the F-1 has received or will receive any more mods before production?

I know. I'm a PBB quilt addict after my gorgeous Axis. I want a JP F1 and Luke to match it and I always regretted not ordering a piezo on my CB Luke, so this is the ideal time to turn back time and change that decision!
