Well, im actually shocked . I didn't logged on last night cuz I was tired from work, so I came home today to check my stuff and I find like a zillion post in my tread !! awesome . I read all the posts, and yeah I spended months wihout playing guitar too due diferent things that were going on at the time, but what I did found out is that when I do play or practice and I reach certain level of skill and stop playing for...lets say 2 months i dont go below that, but if I practice and dont reach that level...all the work I did gets back to zero.... dont know if this happends to you guys....

Spinal Tap....well guys im from south america.... down there ( at least in my hometown) we are lucky to have cheap ivanez guitars around...or jacksons ( I used to own one actually ) and all the dealer were crap..... so spinal tap?.... gotta rent that frigging movie!!

No kidding? They probably know where Dante Ave. is then (my grandmother's old place; now my cousin's).

I visited there back in summer '76. My brother and I stayed for about a month, living the local lifestyle! Great memories!

Since this thread has been revived - I'll chime in.... I got a late jump....started at the age of 26 (will be 35 in Jan)...been playing on and off since then....but have been really motivated lately...
