The only thing that tempts me to sin like that is the weight of my Sterling. It is 10lbs and I am just under a buck so it is 10% of my body weight. I have a 90 minute gig coming up on the 4th of July.... God help me. I will suffer for that amazing tone. Nothing compares.

Well, I don't have that problem. If a bass weighed 10% of my body weight we'd call it an anchor. :)

Good luck, make sure that you have a wide padded strap to help distribute the weight. If I were you, I'd be on the lookout for lighter Sterlings.

I hear Bongo4H's are pretty light. ;)
My fretted 4H is the heaviest EB I have owned so far, not counting the SR5 I had. Still, 9.2lbs isn't all that bad. Of course my fretless weighs a good pound less, so its all relative. Just another reason why my Fretless is the most outstanding bass I have owned.

Hi Koogie! It is at Richmond Raceway backing up Anthony Campbell who won the Today show version of American Idol a few years ago. It should be fun. Let me know if your band comes to Fredericksburg.

I do have a neoprene strap to help with the weight. I am shocked that a Bongo could be lighter. Maybe I should test out a Bongo. Thanks guys.

Sounds to me like you just happen to get a heavy Sterling. The Pearl Lavender one I sold weighed in at 8.4 lbs.

I have let gear lust get the best of me and actually traded off a Bongo (still have 4 EBMMs) for another brand bass. Please forgive me for I am still a loyal supporter of EBMM.

Hey Tom!

You better head back to the confessional!

Remember, you bought my Bongo, which in turn helped ME get a RICKENBACKER!

Oh, MAN! Yer goin' to HELL!!! :D :D :D

But you deceived me...you said that you were getting a Sterling. I have no guilt over that one. :D
