Everybody loves a NGD! I've been on the hunt for another L3 for a while ... this one is fantastic. At some point I'll get it refretted but I'm going to enjoy it for a while first.




Looks like they left the neck in the oven a little longer than usual

Looks like they forgot that neck in the oven when roasting! Love it looks great, congrats!

Great idea with those rings to dampen the strings. Are those some special ones or just something you can get off amazon?

Yeah, I ordered a multi-pack of rubber grommets from Amazon. I stick them behind the headstock to dampen the ringing. The G seems to be the most susceptible, and this seemed to be the easiest fix.
