I picked up a real case queen today. HSH with piezo. I'm trying to use my TRS cable to split the piezo and the Magnetic pickups. I use this cable with my Majesty and other similar guitars, with no issues. I can't get the signal to split. Both pickup sets (MAG & PIEZO) come out in the same channel. I'm not able to split the 2.

Is there a way to fix this using the website? I haven't had much luck finding a computer with a USB A. All mine are thin with USB C.

Any help is much appreciated.

Wow! That's a beauty, well done!

As far as I recall, the piezo is blended with magnetic pickups through the same mono output.

This is from post #89 of the old GC thread...
The piezo pickup can be turned on/off to be combined with (or without) the magnetic pickups. The user will have the ability to save the piezo setting (in addition to just the magnetic pickups) to the 5 way selector switch. As far as it being a global on/off setting, that is TBD.

So got the USB C, check out Amazon or possibly Best Buy for a USB to USB C cable or connector.

Congrats, Glenn |B)

WOW! I hope that this isn't the case. I was under the impression from what I've learned about these guitars over the years, that the jack was stereo, and could use a TRS cable split to 2 different sources. Like the Majesty that I have. If this is not true then I have a problem.

Can you please check this?

@jlepre What was written in that old thread was by Drew Montel, the chief designer of the system. However there is certainly room for clarification. I don’t have access to their old files on the GC.

Call or email them on Monday. Let us know what you find out. If you have trouble getting a response let me know.

In the Web App, there was the ability to choose whether you wanted the magnetic & piezo output to be mono or stereo giving you the option of using a normal guitar cable or a stereo-y cable.

Since Google Chrome has updated a few times the app web address is no longer working for me. I hope the web app gets updated at some point, or I can figure out how to run an older version of Chrome on my laptop when needed.

Have you tried Firefox or Brave, another browser?

I'm using a friend's laptop, so I don't think that I should add another browser to their laptop. If only my laptop had a USB A. I only have USB C jacks.
Well I'm, sure you can get a USB C to USB A cable for the connection. You could always ask to try it out, browsers are pretty basic.
