That sounds really cool, but all I need is my 20th Silo and the 3 way switch to do all I need hehehe (No Offense to yet another one of EBMMs amazing inovations). On another thought, I dont like it because that would ruin the whole idea of buying every EBMM possible to get different tones...and colors hahaha (Just kidding about the not liking it part of course).

I hope as EBMM progresses the idea - it becomes feasible to sell the game changer in an upgrade kit fashion for guitars produced pre-concept. I have a "few" ebmm guitars that I would add it too. (I would not be a true knucklehead if I did not ask for the moon after being given the world. :p)

That would be intersting! Can someone tell if there will be an upgrade kit or if it´s only in new guitars? Thanks!

Pretty neat technology guys...not sure I'd ever use all of that as it seems a little like an answer looking for a problem to me, but it's very cool...a 25th anniversary with that setup could be quite the GAS killer...

As I said to the narrowminded negative first ones on the bass side....

How about the idea if you get to choose ten of the switch positions instead of us...but if you dont like them hold down the encopder knob for 20 seconds and you get factory presets. That is not an answer looking for a problem

I think the whole idea is great. I love having the option to choose.

If you don't want to use it, just leave the factory settings. If you want to use it, program your own and you have a failsafe in case it sounds like poo. If by chance you mistakenly program something, but want the factory settings, then you have the failsafe for that.

iPhone and computer/web editing was mentioned at one point. If the option to store presets in an application is there, you have ANOTHER failsafe to fall back on in case you screw up a custom preset.

I really don't get why people are whining about "too much" choice. Choice is the entire point of this. Included in that is the choice whether you use it or not.

Brilliant!

lets say you are in the home studio recording and have the stock settings and just wish you had a different sound....its there......

lets say you are doing a cover of a certain rock star that plays one and uses it...download his settings. You can keep the standard ones in the tone controls push pull down setting and the rock stars in the pull position

I think without a doubt this is the coolest innovation in guitars in a long time. Finally someone took digital technology and doesn't screw up the awesome analog sound. Kudos BP, kudos.

The million dollar question though is, can we get a retrofit kit for an existing EBMM guitar?

it's like having a POD built into your guitar, that is out of control! For me, playing in a cover band, that will be huge!

you guys rawk!!!

 Confused.

Unless somebody posted and then deleted their post, I don't recall anyone whining about "too much choice". I went back and re-read the thread. The majority of posts have been overwhelmingly positive and there have been a few legitimate questions along the lines of "how will this work", but ... whining?

Honestly, did I miss something?

I did say "I'm not sure I'd ever use it all"...didn't say it wasn't great or for anyone else, just might not be my bag...I'm not narrowminded, otherwise I wouldn't be playing a EBMM, a Morse at that...

Hey no offense meant but how do you know it may not be your bag until you play it. That is what Im talking about.

I have learned so much on this forum...the classic is the outrage that Jp would want a new guitar....there were flame wars bannings and guess what? The new JP is our biggest seller.

Everything I show there are examples of people that pass judgement without playing it...both POSITIVE and NEgative....

maybe a short video will speak louder than words ?

Will someone from EBMM be so kind to let us show/hear the gamechanger ?
