CY, you're little Baby Boy will be playing basses that don't even yet exist in our realm of conshusness (spelled that way so I don't have to think about it!):D

Can you even IMAGINE!???

Boggles. Maybe he'll play Drums  or Guitar:eek:

Really boggles the mind too huh? :D

(For some reason I feel compelled to put on "The Lion King"...)

BP, Nick says he wants to be in the movie and promises to leave the waitresses in the country club alone this time.

GameChanger rocked my world at NAMM. Drew, AJ, Nick and I jammed and experimented with it on that Saturday night.

Sorry guys if I am asking a question that has been answered but can this be retro fitted to any bass ?

Probably not given the company's policy on replacement parts but I can see some of us buying a GC equipped bass, gutting it and dropping the parts in to our #1 (Assuming that it's that simple). I would love for my Blue Dwan Ray to have one!

Good point! But wouldn't the newer model bl*w away my older basses?

How so? Does a Stingray with a single humbucker magically now suck because there are 2 pickup Stingrays available?

Sorry, I wasn't comparing stingrays. I am thinking GC with new tuners and other new inovations being better than my older bass like my sub 5. My bongo is better than my sub 5 because of continuing inovations by a company that looks to the future. I would have a hard time buying a new bass to strip parts out of to put in another bass. I would also have to imagine that I would very rarely play my older basses because I would love the GC so much. If I could get the tone I get from the sub 5 on my bongo, I would have no need for the sub. The neck and ergos are that nice on the bongo! The GC will dominate, will it not?

With the ability for the Gamechanger to change EQ points, I wonder if there's a setting that mimics the classic 2-band preamp?

Regardless, I'm really looking forward to putting my money down and buying one of these when they come out (hopefully winter NAMM). Getting a behind the scenes look at the process is also going to be a lot of fun. Can't wait!

yeah, it can. its real real easy to find THAT sound again. thats a big part of the whole thing. but it goes way further, gamechanger will help you find THAT sound, even if you NEVER had it to begin with, because it was in fact tony levins sound for "______". its cool as hell. and thats just sratchin the surface.

Oooh, loadable presets that can be shared by the interwebz.... Now only if there was a community that could connect EBMM players that are enthusiastic and span multiple styles, genres or even physical locations...... Only if.....

:)

Its not torture...

however ... yes it is!

i should not have asked for updates on about GC on page 11 ... now i regret it.

sounds amazing, can´t wait and i´m wondering if the lawyers solved the patent issues so you can concentrate 100% pushing this baby on the market. ok, what is next? robotic-auto-tuning? :p

So, we had a huge week with the Game Changer project (not to mention the last couple of years of progress), and it is very exciting to witness all of the buzz for the project. But I will say this....NEVER in my wildest dreams did I imagine I could be in the eye of the hurricane with some of the most inspirational, creative, and hard working people on the planet! We are all very proud and ecstatic about The Game Changer, and are working around the clock to get this into players' hands. More to come, I am sure, but I had to chime in!
