It's the most complicated thing we have ever done. Please don't punish us for giving you the early insider story

I can only imagine. It must be like this:

Patiently waiting for the awesomeness here. Sending positive waves for getting the Gordian knot untied in time for NAMM.

I imagine the big hassle is the legal thing. Getting the product itself right is probably childs' play by comparison.

Ok its crazy I filmed a segment for Gamechanger ...the Movie... today. We are doing a reality movie of the process...The stuff this has and can do is beyond my wildest dreams....
Its not torture...its not hype this is the most signifigant advancement I have ever witnessed...and it is intuitive....here is a hint....with a six coil guitar there ar over 8.5 million sounds.....I saw the math today.

The team is so unbelievable...from Seasoned veterans to Drew to fresh faced college engineers it is the 27 yankees of sonic evolution.
Craig knows because he is getting one and going to be in the movie..as is Petruccci, Morse, Larue, Tony Levin Blues Saraceno and many others.....

I think the chances of this being retrofitted to a bass is somewhere between remotely slim and none, leaning heavily towards none.

+1

With musicman's policy of not sending in any spare without a trade for the original, which means, musicman on musicman product, retrofitting should be out of the question i think.

Being able to retrofit it on a musicman is being able to retrofit it on any other brand as well.

Right?

All info extremely kewl.
Retrofit or not, I'm taking the perspective of cooling my jets (with anticipation)
and waiting for the final product to make market- Would love to see/hear it at NAMM if it happens by then.

The technologies and features of the modern bass have evolved SO much over the last 5-10-15-20 etc. years. Amazing, holds true for technologies in general of course,

Micro amps that rival SVT's, active pre-amps, neo pups and speakers, WOW,
And now this.

I'm very happy playing my '55 (repro) or '69 (real thing) P-Bass, but my HH Bongo is another world indeed.

EB MusicMen development peeps, you do rawk.

i dont think the details like this have been fully answered yet. everyone is too busy twisting knobs, smiling, hi fiving, doing a running man -ish / end-zone like celebratory dance, then repeating the twisting and pushing of knob-buttons. we could happily be stuck in this cycle for a bit, i think. at namm, i almost spiked bp's sparkly red stingray into the ground and screamed "touchdown name-blamer!!!" the first time i got to push the buttons and hear cool bass tones never ever heard before by humans, then BP said, nooo dumbass it's "game-changer!". i was like oh, yeah.. even better! its insanely cool cats. historic even. like bp says though, dont punish the factory for an early insiders peek into low ends future.
