Let me say that the GameChanger is everything BP has said it is... and more! Incredible, revolutionary, innovative, and it friggin WORKS like nobody's business.

It's one hell of a concept and very exciting. From Motown to Yes with the flick of a switch.

Can't wait to try the Gamechanger option.

Guys, you will not believe this when you see/hear this. BP treated me to about a 15 minute clinic about this thing and I was blown away. Get ready to forget all you know about limited tone with the GameChanger!

Plus, the tone on these Big Al's with the mahogany is simply killer. That one in the picture sounded simply awesome even without the GameChanger. If you cannot tell, I am extremely excited about this and anxious for it's debut!

Just when I thought "it's all been done" and every year I walk around NAMM and see nothing new or groundbreaking - all you really ever see is another company making a J Bass and claiming how great it is. Just like the drum industry in a way. As soon as drum parts and Keller shells became available, you saw a bunch of guys making drums - and if they're all using Keller shells, what's the difference? I've been reading about the Gc (GC being Guitar Center, so why not use Gc for the Gamechanger) and some have said, "I'm a plug and play guy and too many options are no good." That was my first thought too, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought how cool it was. How many times have we all had a bass that we've swapped out pickups and had a tech do a coil tap or whatever - trying to find that perfect tone or sound? If the Gc is going to get all the juice out, then we'll never have this problem ever again. The question is: will there be a downside - like will the Gc be the only bass you need, which means that a player will only have one EB/MM bass instead of 10? For me, the answer is no because I like having a few different toys. The other question is will the system be available as a retrofit drop-in for your existing bass? The other thing is that after all the patents are in place, no other company will be able to copy it, right? This IS huge - and I think that all the other companies will be left scratching their heads and thinking, "wow, we're screwed now."

here is the deal:
my last bass purchase was around 1995, a black MusicMan Sterling which i still love. now i decided to buy something different and ordered a Fender Jaguar bass, BUT when i just found out about the "GameChaner"-technology, which i consider a sensation, i seriously cancelled my order again to save the bucks for a new MM.

Is it still to early to get answers to my questions?
a) will the Big AL (4 strings) include the new technology?
b) do i have to wait another 6, 12 or 18 months?
c) how the settings get transmitted to the bass? WLAN? Bluetooth? USB?

thx and greetings from Amsterdam, Hans

usb cable into the instrument from a computer or and iphone etc. once the settings are loaded you can then remove the usb cable.

I would love to have had this on my 25th HH. As it stands I look forward to having it on whatever it's in after I'm done buying Classics! However, I hope Gamechanger doesn't devolve to "GC" then devolve to Guitar Center as an exclusive outlet. I don't shop there

Trust me when I say the Gamechanger is truly revolutionary. I could not believe what I was seeing or hearing when BP was showing it to me. I was trying to grasp all that he was saying, but it is going to take some practice and familiarizing to understand all of it.

With this being said, I think this is too groundbreaking to be limited to Guitar Center. I would highly doubt only their models would get it.

I disagree I watched Sterling show people and they where getting it within 30 seconds. It is really easy to understand and it won't be limited to GC. It will be offered as an option like piezo etc. I was told pricing and it is more than reasonable. This is really a game changer

it may be a joke but it is a hijack! heheheh

This world is so funny....You come up with something and you cant sell it or show it because of making sure your legal protection is in order

The concept I agree is easy to understand. The huge number of possibilities is what will take some time to master. I am sure this will be a case of however far you want to pursue your tone. You can stick with the familiar tones or the customization available is almost endless. It took BP a good 15 minutes to just go over the surface of what this can do. AMAZING, I tell you!

I so much want to know more about it. And if it will fit into a Big Al 5.
I hope you get your industrial property rights properly filed soon so we will get it.
