You may know that Leo Fender and George Fullerton had company CLF which made the Basses for Music Man (the Pre_EB Basses).

I have a chance to put questions to George.

I have a long list. Anybody want to add to it?

or did they just kinda wing it and make a product that was never waaay out there?

Hoo boy! How about...

We know that the parting of CLF and Music Man in 1979 was somewhat acrimonius. What is George's opinion of the quality of Music Man instruments in the transitional period before Ernie Ball bought Music Man out and following the takeover?

(I bet that's one of your questions already)

how about his take on current trends and what he figures might be modern day "snake oil" aspects to the onslaught of custom made instruments. Like how some "custom" builders will list the use of the 'exotic tone wood Alder' ......... it is a good tone wood but highly non-exotic.

I'd like to know his thoughts and opinions on the Sabre. What he thought of the design, good or bad? Why the Stingray was huge success and the "deluxe" model Sbare didn't sell.

Hmmm, how about a 4 band preamp with high/low mids.....wait, I'll get back to you, I have some ideas.

Call Phil Chen, we're going to need his P bass!
