Hmmmm....BFR........I'll start the speculatin'.

Bongo....Flamed maple body....Rosewood neck?

One, please. :D

If there is ever a bass that would make me consider owning a 6 string again, it's the Bongo.

My DD will arrive in '07 so it'll be tough for the '07 Ltd Ed to top it, but I have a feeling you are up to the challenge. And, that, quite frankly, scares the poo out of me.

Bongo 6 *could* be the "ain't never gonna happen" Bongo guitar....
"Never" is a strong word. Has BP ever said "never" about a 6-string bass?

A 6 bass would require a new bridge casting, new pickups...which it seems to me would only be justifiable if they were used for more than just a one-off commission.

Hmmm.....

I'd better start wearing bandaids on my fingertips to keep me from chewing my nails off. 20th SR5...broad hints about all-rosewood necks...this new Bongo (though I'll never be a 6-string bass player).

I have a feeling I'm going to be buying something (or multiple somethings?) expensive in '07....

Make that 2. As I've said before, if you make a Bongo with a rosewood neck, I'll find a way to buy it.

I'm glad I can't play more than 4 strings, so I'm immune to the 20th Ann. SR5, the Sterling 5, and the Bongo 6. It will be very interesting to see how many of those extended-range bassists out there start preaching the Bongo gospel after they try one though.

This is going to be fun.

I just got off the phone with BP......this is going to be fun.

Start selling your non-collectables now.

Maybe look into a Tupperware dealership.

A paper route, perhaps.

FWIW, I'm in trouble, too.

Heinz is looking worried!

I'm going to start unlearning how to read English. This forum is to blame. I have no funds to perpetuate this unrequited purchasing urge. Damnation.
