I hope you were joking about Heinz. Because i'm kinda broke.

Settle down, Dr Stank. The only way Heinz is going anywhere is if the SR5 20ths arrive and I'm broke.

(Could happen, but we're a ways off just yet.)

(And I'm looking into a Tupperware dealership.)

Boy, oh boy, am I a lucky man.

I recently got divorced, so no wife to stop the addiction and in 2007 I am expecting a huge promotion with a 40% pay rise!

Bring it on, BP, do your worst! :D

I wonder if all of the recent work on the new JP guitar is one of the things that prompted talk of a Bongo 6. I know his bass player has a current sig model that is a six string with two big humbuckers....

Hmmmm......

Hmmmm....BFR........I'll start the speculatin'.

Bongo....Flamed maple body....Rosewood neck?

One, please. :D

If there is ever a bass that would make me consider owning a 6 string again, it's the Bongo.

My DD will arrive in '07 so it'll be tough for the '07 Ltd Ed to top it, but I have a feeling you are up to the challenge. And, that, quite frankly, scares the poo out of me.

thats what I'm thinkin....

These may turn out to be good basses if they were offered with maple boards.

BFR = Big Freakin' Rig?

A new all valve MM head + matching cab line.

Until:

a.) I get a better rig

and

b.) I get better as a player

I am very secure in my current Bongo.

until the pictures come out.

and does BP mean a guitar or a bass when he uses the term Bongo6?

Awwww man!

Here I am, scrimping and saving just to get a new bass, and then BP comes along and drops 5 possible new basses to consider. Limited runs no doubt!

I must resist any new purchases until the final story comes out, but I can tell right now, my pocket book is not going to be happy.

At first glance, I am thinking 2007 might be a two MM year. Ouch! Tentatively I am looking at a Anniversary Stingray 5, or the LE 2007 depending on how cool it is. If Bongo 6 makes production as a limited run....Ouch even more!
