Oh yeah... I got mine for $700 off the bay. Its brand new with hardcase. Considering I would have to pay 940 from Bass central, I think I got a pretty good deal.

The Godins are nice basses. As for feedback, you won't have as much of a problem with piezos feeding back as long as you make sure the imput has a high enough impedence for the piezos to keep them from quacking out on ya. I use a Fishman Pro Bass II in front of my GK, and I love the sound I get with both the fretted and fretless Bongos with the piezos soloed. A very nice, alive tone.

I just got the Godin and I'm loving it right now. It is a gorgeous bass and so far I havn't had a bit of feedback -even close to my huge rig. I'm really digging it and I like that there are no fretlines( I play upright also).
