Johans,

Yes there is a fretless SUB. There hasn't been a lot of them made yet, but there are more fretless SUB's out there than fretless Bongos.

I played a fretless SUB at NAMM, and thought it was great. Of course, if you know me, you know what I really recommend.

The Godins are nice basses. As for feedback, you won't have as much of a problem with piezos feeding back as long as you make sure the imput has a high enough impedence for the piezos to keep them from quacking out on ya. I use a Fishman Pro Bass II in front of my GK, and I love the sound I get with both the fretted and fretless Bongos with the piezos soloed. A very nice, alive tone.

I just got the Godin and I'm loving it right now. It is a gorgeous bass and so far I havn't had a bit of feedback -even close to my huge rig. I'm really digging it and I like that there are no fretlines( I play upright also).

Sweet sound

Andrew
