#1) proof that I can keep a secret. I think you knew that I knew and was not letting anyone else know, right Keith?
#2) Pete told me himself that he prefers rosewood fingerboards over maple.
#3) Remind Pete of #2.
#4) I like it already :D
#7) (I always put in a #7)

His page doesn't have a 25th off the "on order" page and onto the "in stock" page yet....but I'm in CT more often and just heard from my boss that I'm supposed to be there once a week now. Hmmmmmmm

The Gold Roller not only looks great, but it really rips.

No doubt about it the above staements are so true.
Keith, sell it to me if you don't like it :)

LOL Colin, glad to see you back, yea I will sell you Petes guitar LOL sure he would like that:D
So how does the Gold Roller compare with the 20th Silo?

Funny you should ask, more on that later but totaly different.

#1- Yea I knew you knew and you can keep a secret:)
#2- Most of us know Pete prefers Rosewood, unless its somthing real special with maple, like BFR AL and this puppy.
#3- No need for that:D
#4- Me Too!
#7- Well you wont be sorry if you did grab a 25th:)

OK after some mor testing this thing is awesome, it is a unique guitar, it may say Silohouette but its not your Daddys Silo:D

Doesnt sound like anything else I have tried, its different from the regular Silo, 20th and not that the 25th is a Silo but different from it as well.

I really like it and like I said earlier so lighwieght.

The Crazy Fing Beagle gives this a big thumbs up:cool:

If you tell Pete that you um..."lost" the guitar...then you could send him a check to reimburse him. Us Knuckleheads will all back up your story and not tell him!

LOL, as much as I would not mind keeping it, first it is Petes, second he sent it in a standard case since UPS sometimes gets a little rough on the BFR cases and I am in no hurry, contrary to popular belief this will be it for quite awhile.
I am going to keep it through next weekend then send it back to Pete, place my order and then sometime early next fall will have my own:)

The birdseye is even better in person! That guitar is now in my #2 spot with Yellow 9, used for all dropped tuning. We are taking most of the summer off to record the new album, so I don't need it for a few weeks. I'll make sure the Gold Roller features on at least one track!

Pete,

Thanks again for letting me borrow this axe, it is an awesome piece, sorry but I tuned it back to standard E-e.

It is the missing link and you can plan on ordering one for me.

Look forward to your album:cool::cool:

Cant thank you enough, this has been fun:)

No problem Keith, it was the least I could do for you. Don't be sorry, you can go ahead and tune it to L-minus as long as you enjoy the guitar! We only have 2 or 3 songs in a 40+ song set that are drop D, and we play them all at the end of 1st set. I guess I left it that way and used the JP the rest of the night.

We already have 7 songs in stone, next Wed is new idea day!
