Probably the Sprint switchboard is on fire from the sudden inundation of millions of EB players.

Golem, it's just the super high quality imported Swedish electrons that we are now using. You'll get used to the taste as your taste buds become snobbier.
Oh, thanks. That expalins the slightly rotting salty fishy taste .....

Does the forum being up mean they're also making basses in the new facility? Maybe my HH SR4 will get built now! ;)

Figjam where are you noticing slowdown? Forums side or the site side?
Forum, it just seems like the page is loading more slowly, and the threads are loading in clusters of 3 or so at a time, and posts take a a little while to load , they load a few at a time as well.

It's hard for me to tell internally since this thing loads faster than the screen can display. I don't know what's up with our connections, I'm cranking hard on the battle of the bands. I'll wake one of the other DigitalSimians and see what we can deduce.

The new facility is out in the desert. The SLO factory is still doing what they do so well - building basses.

No problems with response time or page loads on the forum for me...

Things appear quite "snappy"... :D

Codemonkey were there DNS changes that happened along the way with the move?

I experience no slow down at all over the new forum. I also emptied the cache on my DNS server in anticipation of possible changes.

Were I the real slueth I would have checked :)
