I mainly play five strings, and I have two nice EBMM US Sterlings. But I keep one four string, which has been my Jack Casady for about a year. Nice and light, but a little awkward to play what with the somewhat large body.
So, after months and months of looking at P basses, Aerodynes, and more trying to find a light-weight four string, the search is over. I ended up deciding to look for a really light Fender, but after a while I thought: I'll just go for a EBMM H bass. And I found one. EBMM Sterling 4H, weighs only 7#6oz. Small Sterling body with nice jazz size neck. Perfect! Should get it Friday or Saturday, as long as FedEx doesn't let me down. Here she is (no name yet, but soon).
Ordered some Slinkys and a Hipshot D tuner from Jaslon @ BSO, and a black pearl pick guard from Chandler.
