Hello everyone, I just picked up my new Green Axis Tribute. I've been looking for one in my general area other than the Amber (which is nice too of course). I finally found the Green so I pulled the trigger on it and I'm so happy I did! These pics don't do her justice so I'll post some better one's later. I hope to talk with you soon!

Thanks guys (BKrumme and bbake1). I've been looking on the GC Platinum site for a few weeks now for a color I really want. I looked at a red one which was great too and almost grabbed that one. But then I saw a new post for a green one go up just the other day. http://platinum.guitarcenter.com/search/view_listing.cfm?prodId=18545. I was a little disappointed when I saw the quilt job on on these pro pics but figured I'd go see it anyway. I'm so glad I saw it in person as you can't get the full "3D" type effect one gets while gazing at these beauties from different agles!

Very sweet. Their picture made it look like half of the guitar had no flame but that is clearly not the case. Welcome!

Thanks Allen, I wrote it after being inspired by The Dark Tower series of novels by Stephen King.
The first book is called The Gunslinger and the main character (Roland Deschain) is often referred to as Gunslinger.

Thank again everyone for the kind words! Thanks for all the welcomes. Hi Tollie my NE neighbor.

No Slam taken Stratty. hee hee. I know what you mean. Back in the day I actually had a green EBMM EVH in my hands at GC in Boston when it was on Comm Ave across from BU back in the mid 90's! I always regret not going into massive debt to just take that green one home. I was just out of college and not much of a job back then but...

After looking at many of the guitars in the albums here I'm getting bitten pretty hard by the Axis bug!

Talk to you soon gents!

I have had 2 Green EVH's and sold them both as I prefer my Green Axis and liked the $$$$ the EVH's brought in. I would have picked up a tribute but there are too many other things to pay for right now.

wow yeah Stratty I'll bet those two green EVH's did bring in some... green. yeah bad pud can't resist. Yeah It seems EBMM has come a long way with their dyes and finishing process as these new ones look amazing! So much 3D effect and depth. Thanks for the great welcome Glen! I saw the green one pop up on the GC site in the Brooklyn store on a Friday night. Then I made the drive down on Saturday and was floored at the difference in the pro pics to the real deal. So I just had to have her! I'm over here in the western part of the state just outside of Springfield. Glad to see another Mass person on the forum here!

Hi Allen,

We actually have enough people around my house to start a small band. We've all been known to show up at Music Man sponsored events (Morse clinics, Petrucci clinic, Hiland clinic). Keep your eye on the events section. They happen all of a sudden usually either in Manchester, CT or Boston.

Oh, and nice to see you make it to the forum. :) Enjoy the AX20 too.
