Hello, New to the forum. First post so I'd like to introduce myself. Currently own three EBMM Axis guitars. Two are tributes. Absolutely love all three though. Always looking to add to my collection.
Here's my situation: Recently had to replace the bridge pickup with a Dimarzio DP155. I installed/wired the pickup with no issues. Once I restrung the guitar, tuned-up and played for a minute, I noticed the high E and B Strings would hit the pickup when playing above the 10th fret. I realize the pickup is sitting too high. So my question is should I take a dremel to the pickup cavity on the side where the pickup is hitting the strings? Seems to be a quick/easy fix. To those of you with much more experience, what am I missing??
Thanks for any help!
