Hey, DuBaldo! You wanna do "Fire Woman" as well? I love that song. I'll help out with the harmonies, but I ain't gonna sing it, bro!

Let me know.

Also, anyone wants to do a bluesy-jam thing, I'll help out on bass.

Also also, someone needs to sticky these on-the-fly band arrangements!

Guitar Dudes...

Anyone for Long Train Runnin' by the Doobie Brothers?

Looking for a few guitars - a singer - and a mean harmonica (or Kazoo could do!)

If EBMM supplies the Kazoo (lord knows I don't want to try and get one of those through airport security :D ) I'm all over it.

In the keep it simple vein - anyone up for Summertime Blues?
I can handle 3 three chords and a vocal
But if anyone(s) want to join in for fills, leads, bass runs etc.,... dive bombers, chicken pickers, slappers, thumpers...
there's been so many versions that just about anyway you play it sounds right, which could be good after an evening of Big Poppa Hospitality ;) :D

Okay, here's my classic rock "wish list" for the jam:

War Pigs
What Is And What Should Never Be
Candy Store Rock
Mean Streets

I may add more later...otherwise, I'll just 'ho myself out for a classic rock and/or Motown set.

Where is this jam happening at??? I'd love to come spectate???

Hey 8 - I was just reading your other post. Here's a chance to kill 2 birds with one stone.

The jam is happening in San Luis Obispo, CA, at the open house. Check the special events section for details.

It would also give you a great chance to play a Petrucci!

I hear you on that, I live in CT. Won't be something I do every weekend, but this is a special opportunity so I'm hopping on a plane for the big funhouse tour

Mike, are you on the 12:50 flight into SLO from Phoenix, too?

edit: sorry tommy, didn't realize this was the signup thread, thought it was the friday night one
