Hey NorM,

A wise man once saw my '79 G*bson Les Paul and asked me if I had it insured. When I replied "no, I don't even know how much I could insure it for, it's priceless in the way that it has a million bucks worth of sentimental value", he said "you should insure it".

That wise man was Ernie Ball himself. I think I'm gonna call my homeowner's insurance company and see about insuring my guitar. Still haven't done it yet.

The guitar will do no good to the theft with all the negative voodoo of the forum members.
Man I hope the guitar will return to you.

That really sucks man.

I also kinda know what you're feeling. My Ibanez JPM was brutally abused in a party I was playing. The neck broke in two and the body gained half a dozen really nasty dings. Still today I don't know who did it.. In a way I'm glad I didn't catch the bastard red handed..

Hope you get it back!!

For what its worth, for Norm and his friend, I once played a show to help find a cure for CF, it was a fund raiser put on by a local cheer squad. I can't say that the instrument or music was completly worth playing, and the crowd sucked, but we did it to help those in need, and that made it worth it.

NorM I'm terribly sorry. The theft of a guitar with such a high sentimental value depresses me. The chances of your guitar finding it's way to my neck the woods are very slim. Nevertheless, my eyes are wide open. Best wishes to you and your friend.
