Ohhhhhh my god...this guitar is AMAZING. The quality is stunning, Gotoh floyd is crazy sturdy, and the birdseye neck is perfect. Tone is better than the Wolfgang Special. Granted I had the EXP but the previous owner added a tone knob. Sounded pretty dam good...or so I thought until I heard the Axis. I'm sure the US Wolfgang is much better but for $3500, nope.
Gonna sell my Wolfgang probably.

Good one! When you get an EBMM you just can't look back.I sold all my non EBMM guitars and don't regret it one bit. Enjoy!

Ummm, please dont compare the korean wolfgang to the us peavey line. Not even in the same realm dude. And the new EVH brand wolfs are nice but anyone with a brain would grab one on the used market for half off. Congrats on the axis

Yeah, not to disrespect but the EXP's are junk imo. However, I owned a dark cherry burst standard deluxe that was my main guitar for years.....until I bought an Axis

I liked the neck better on the axis, I liked the fit of the body and overall balance of the axis, I liked the position of the pickup selector better on the axis and I liked the tone better on the axis. I own a couple axisssss right now and they're my main guitars

wolfgang EXP is by far not comparable to an EBMM Axis or even to one of those peavey US made wolfgangs.
have had a lot of different wolfgangs in the past, they all come and go, but my EBMM EVH stays for ever!
the only wolfgang i still have is a hardtail US std....but think of sell this as well to refinance another Y2D :)

Well I'm with you anyway NYEVHFAN, even with the Am wolfgang. I had an American wolfgang but then got an Axis. I thought the Axis trumped it without a doubt. I sold the wolfie and haven't looked back.

Welcome to the forum.

Haha thanks for the feedback and the welcomes!
Yeah, I knew this would blow away my low end EXP. I had a US Wolf with the birdseye and all awhile back but was surprisingly unimpressed.
