I love pearls and sparkles on my guitars, so one vote for pearl blue, Bob.

Remember how cool the sparkle-back Lukes were?

Satin black all the way. And some sort of binding too, i know you dont like plastic, but what about thin strips of wood binding around the top, and headstock would look cool.

Can't wait to watch this build over the slow winter months! I say see what the wood looks like first once you get her sanded and ripped down. Either one will look killer!

OK gents, I got some dupont ultra flat finish black :)

And heres an update worthy of an update haha. BKP Emerald pickups. REALLY wishing I splurged and got the colored nickel covers now. Bridge is an "Axmax" floyd rose variant, very beefy piece of kit. Bourns low friction pot, generic 3 way switch replacement (the EBMM 3 way is frankly too big for the cavity, I have almost no room to run wiring in there :-/)

Oh yeah, the shiny spots are super glue. I sealed the joint and did a couple spot fills. It'll disappear when i finish.

...REALLY wishing I splurged and got the colored nickel covers now...
imo, colored covers are attractive for the wrong reasons...they take the eye away from the rest of the guitar's beauty. I usually like uncovered pickups, but those look hospital white, so the guitar's esthetics might benefit from covers.

I like the white honestly, but this is something that would have looked killer imo edit: keep in mind, when I clear the top it will get noticeably darker!
