You know what? I don't even CARE if it's a good game.

The Giants won the NFC and are going, and that's enough for now.

Chuck Rainey is hating me a LOT right now!

That is all.

Jack

Congrats Jack and the Giants. (should there be a beanstalk here somewhere?)

But in the true game of football that's called "throwing the ball" and will award the opposition a free kick. Roll on, AFL season 2008! Only 59 days to go!:D

AFL Season 2008 Fixture

Hope I don't start a war of the codes here (much)!!

My doctor put Wisconsin on anti-depressants this morning.

I was listening to NFL Radio on satellite this morning, and one of the guys covering the game at Lambeau said after the Giants won in overtime....you could hear a pin drop as people were leaving the stadium. He said it was the most quiet he's ever heard a stadium after a loss.

I remember the pregame commentator saying the wrong teams made it past the Colts and the Cowboys. At least in regards to the Giants he better be eating a big ole bowl of crow this morning.

Still, the Pats showed in the last game of the regular season that they were able to hold back the Giants and I'm hoping for a repeat in 13 days.

Go Pats!!!! :D

Barely! ;)

I haven't watched every Pat game but they didn't blow me away then
and they didn't look so hot yesterday either. But a win is a win and
they've proven they know how to do that!

Still, I'm up for a wager, especially if they're talking 14 points like I heard
one commentator say last night?! what da?!

Ugh. Two more weeks of Boston and New York fans arguing about which city is the center of the sports universe, while the rest of the country yawns. A pox on both their houses, I say. Not that I'm bitter or anything....

The Pats have definitely had a few squeaker games this season. They were almost taken out by the Ravens, but managed to score as time was running out. Same with the Eagles, and as you mentioned, they managed to win 38-35 in week 16. The thing that has me concerned is the interceptions are starting to pile up. The Pats have been super pass happy this year. I think the Giants could capitalize on that. Eli has been playing very strong after a shaky start.

Of course I want the Pats to win (even though I don't live at any center of any sporting universe), but I'm more excited at the prospects of a nail biter down to the wire hail mary kind of game that has everyone glued to the screen.

As Beavis once said,

"Sunday Sunday SUNDAY!!!!! 12 bucks buys you the whole seat but you'll only need the edge!!!!!"
