Introducing myself-- QuietSpike from Washington, D.C.
Just bought what I believe to be one of, if not THE, last JP12's with the bali-blue quilted maple top that are brand new (and not defective). Would love to know if EBMM is continuing production of this guitar and color or if it is done.
My first EBMM…
Been playing for over 20 years. Have had a strat (1997 or 98 deluxe start plus), Les Paul (1990 Studio with ebony fret board), and some others. My main axe right now is a Jem 7v which I love to play, but honestly hate to look at!
My first foray into MM will be this JP12, and I am very excited about it… So excited I want to shout it from on top of a mountain... but I don't have a mountain, I have this forum.
Also, I am a hard-core Boogie fan boy. Had a roadster head (awesome), and currently have a Mark V. I like hard rock to heavy, and use a lot of effects… so much that my nickname in one band was "NASA".
I usually detest forums because you can never judge "tone of voice" with someone's post, which sometimes makes them hard to decipher (joke or serious). I am a pretty laid-back kat, so don't take me too seriously.
