I am now officially regretting that I didn't put in an order for an SLO Ray. :(

+1 - that has to be the most GAS worthy Stingray I've ever seen

I might have to find a way to pick up one from dealer stock.........an H 3 band Ray would suffice. Imagine what the Bongo will look like

Hey guys - first post here!

So I have to say I'm looking at getting a new bass, and a StingRay5 has been on my short list for sometime. I'm really digging what I'm seeing from these pics here in this thread, but I'm afraid I'm new enough to to the Music Man world that I don't really understand the whole PDN thing. Specifically, how do you get one, do you have options available, etc.? Any heads up would be great.

Thanks guys!

PDN... Premier Dealer Network. Limited group of private dealers around the world (ie. no Guitar Center). Starting last year a special instrument/option package has been offered to these dealers only. This year the package has a mahogany body, roasted maple neck, pao ferro fretboard, stainless frets and honey burst finish. Basscentral just posted a picture of a Stingray 5 in this package on there Facebook page. I do not know if it is available for sale or a customer order. Hope this helps.

Has anyone seen a Bongo out in the wild yet? A.J. I will bribe you with my wife's homemade cookies for a Bongo picture. JOSH

My dealer told me a while back that mine should come in around the first or second week of September so I'm hoping that's still the case. I have a buddy who has a real top-notch camera (Nikon D800 - "Full Frame" sensor and 36 megapixels) who said he'd be up for taking some pics of it so I'm looking forward to that. I'll definitely post up some of the pics he takes. Of course, I'll take some with my little camera the moment it arrives and post those right away too.

I'm stoked to see the Bongo pics from all you guys!! Bring it... :)

Nah, my Reflex 5HH will probably the last one built in the whole run, LOL. Initially I was going witH a Bongo but I'm hooked on the Passive/Active models, not to mention how sick it will look with creme binding as a bonus. I think the PDN's might be one of the best special runs as every model will be great.

this one's a 6'er but maybe it'll give you a hint of what's in store.
