I've been using Stephi (thanks Tom!) and Levi straps for years now because they have a few that'll go pretty short and are still padded. I play kind of high but not quite a bow tie. :p

I'd kill for a leather padded short EB strap though! :D

My mistake, i typed levy earlier, i do have onebut my main one is a Stephi.

Sweet, EBMM "Phatties"...... would gladly retire my Levys for one of 'em.
Now a nice Blues S. Plaid Phatty would be phunky! ahh... what can I say, it's been a long couple of days

BP,

Be certain to produce a few with outrageous colors and patterns so that Aussie Mark will buy into this product. ;)

And make the padding super-absorbent to resist Dude's licking.

Yeah so I'm late.

+two million on the EB big strap idea, I've longed to be able to have a nice thick EB strap from which to hang my wonderful EB basses.

I dunno... Would have to be a pretty good strap for me to give up my Levi. Wonder if BP is up to the challenge.
Around here at least, Levy is the most common. Guitar companies don't make straps, they spec them, and get their logo on them. If Levy is also the common supplier on the other coast, BP can't go wrong with them. All my EB's [and a few other not-so-lite basses] hang on the Levy strap that's about 4 inch wide leather with the sheep fleece padding. Mine are natural brown, but it also comes in solid black with white fleece. Brown and black are enuf strap colors to 'match' any bass ever gonna be made. The wide fleece strap is very good at distributing weight, at reducing dive, and at looking good.

If EB is gonna offer soopercool straps with embossed logo, wouldn't it be unquestionably proper that all LE and anniversary editions have a Limited Edition embossed strap proclaiming which anniversary or LE it is shipped with? If it's marked all the way down to the s/n, you have a real Under-the-Bed-Dweller investment item. I'm of the "all basses are made to be played" school, but I get the drift that even those playing LE basses keep the case candy under the bed, just in case [ <--- dumb pun alert].
